The dynamics of political dynasties in Indonesia reflect the evolution of the political system in its historical context. This research describes the development of political dynasties from the colonial period to the modern era, identifying factors that influence the continuity and transformation of political dynasties. Using a historical approach and contemporary analysis, this study traces the traces of political dynasties in policy changes, power structures and political participation. This research highlights political party institutions in the democratic aspect, the face of political dynasties in Indonesia and analyzes the existence of political dynasties in Indonesia in the democratic aspect. From the consolidation of colonial power to independence, political dynasties played an important role in the formation of states and constitutions. This analysis also explores the impact of political dynasties on political stability and the development of democracy in Indonesia. By paying attention to the dynamics of succession in political dynasties, this research identifies patterns of inheritance of power and the influence of political dynasties on public policy. In addition, this study evaluates society's response to the phenomenon of political dynasties, including perceptions of political justice and economic growth. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the evolution of political dynasties in Indonesia, investigating their impact on political and social developments. The implications of these findings can help design policies that encourage transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in political processes, creating a stronger foundation for future democratic development.
